I offer one-to-one and group tuition in:

With 17 years' teaching experience, I work with people of all ages and abilities — from beginners picking up an instrument for the first time to experienced musicians developing their sound.
My sessions are designed to be fun, supportive, and creatively empowering. I want students to feel affirmed, energised, and confident. Together, we break learning into manageable steps, build efficient techniques and develop body memory that supports relaxed, joyful playing.
I can help you find your own creative voice, simplify the learning process, and make steady progress without frustration. You're welcome to use my instruments in lessons, and I’m happy to advise on choosing one for home.
We can explore a wide range of styles — from folk, classical and rock to hip hop, dance music, metal and beyond.
Lessons are available from my studio in Dumfries, online, or at other locations by request. I'm a member of the PVG Scheme for working with children and vulnerable adults.
Tuition Rates
One-to-one: £17 per 30 minutes
Group: £40 per hour
Workshop day rate: £285
